Maisy the Dog needs a home
- Maisy came to us from a local shelter along with her 8 large puppies. She was a good Mom and is now looking for her forever home.
- Adoption fee is $250.
- 1 year old, believed to be a multi mix of perhaps Australian Cattle dog and Australian shepherd.
- Weighs 35 pounds and is full grown.
- Spayed, micro-chipped, is heartworm negative and up to date on vaccinations.
- Is house trained and is not crated in her foster home.
- Maisy is a very sweet and friendly girl. She is good with people and children and other dogs.
- She likes to play with other dogs. She would like a home with a companion dog or person that would get her some daily exercise.
- Maisy has not been around cats though the foster does not believe it would be an issue
- As do all young dogs, she would benefit greatly from attending an obedience class to help her with basic commands, good household behaviour and overall socialization.
- The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 16 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heart worm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
